Superior, WI - Grandmothers for Peace
The Grandmothers for Peace came out of Friday, April 17, 2009 to observe Iraq Moratorium Day #20.
A group of young boys on bikes took up position 10 yards or so behind the picket line and spoke encouragingly to all of us and to passers by. They were very curious about our efort and asked numerous questions. I guess you never know when a teaching moment will occur!

I hereby make a commitment that,
on the Third Friday and/or the Third Weekend of every month, I will break my daily routine and take some action, by myself or with others, to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
